Letter Asking for advice Advice given.

Dear Desperate,

_____I am so sorry to hear about the unfortunate deaths of your two sons. I'm sure that they were fine boys who loved you as much as you love them. However, do not doubt that God loves you too. Right now, he wants to see how much faith you have. This is your test, not punishment. Did Job not face similar circumstances? Though he lost everything - friends, family and his home - he never took his eyes away from God. This made him stronger and it will make you stronger. Also, I know that if you keep persevering, God will reward you for all you hardships.

_____This is a way for Him to call you too. We are often closest to Christ in times of sorrows. He wants us to lean on Him for support. He wants us to feel confident about His love and to seek his guidance. Do not try to endure the pain all on you r own. Let the Lord mend all the sores for you. Take the opportunity to let Him shelter you in His arms.

_____Do not stop seeking for help within your community too. You have brothers and sisters in church who, along with Christ, can help you through your troubles. They can help you to go on without your sons just as you were able to survive without your husband. Again, do not lose faith during this process. Stay grounded in all you do.

_____I leave you with a favorite Bible passage from Psalms. It has always reassured me that God will come to us if we are patient.
